Close with a clear action

A prospecting call that ends with “Okay, we’ll get back to you” is a pointless call. The conclusion should always trigger an action. Whether it’s an appointment, an email to send, or a blocked slot, you need to materialize a follow-up.

Examples:

“I’ll email you the information and suggest we take stock on Thursday at 10 a.m.” “Okay, would you prefer in two weeks? I’ll block the slot now.”

The key is to remain natural, professional and direct , without falling into pressure or insistence.

Validate the interlocutor’s agreement

Before hanging up, rephrase: “Perfect, so among the priority areas of cooperation are I’ll send you the document by this evening, and we’ll talk on Monday at 9 a.m. as planned. Is that okay with you?”

A little final validation helps reinforce engagement, avoid missed appointments, and leave a good impression.

Don’t jump to conclusions

Ending a call isn’t about cutting it project “rating of brands of st. petersburg” short. If the other person seems engaged, let them ask questions. Sometimes the best information (or real signals of interest) come in the last few minutes .

Did you get a “yes”?

Don’t lose track. Follow the post-call steps to convert your leads into customers.
