  1. Authenticate your domain with DKIM (for example, a domain like “thegreenyoga.com”)
  2. Maintain a spam rate below 0.3% in Postmaster tools
  3. Do not use a @gmail.com or @googlemail.com account to send bulk messages.

When assessing the impact of these requirements, be sure to consider the following:

  • The third requirement on the list applies to all senders, even if they send fewer than 5,000 emails in 24 hours. If you send bulk emails from a @gmail.com or @googlemail.com account , your emails will most likely automatically end up in the recipients’ spam folder.
  • These requirements apply whenever the recipient uses a Gmail or Yahoo account, regardless of the sending provider.
  • You can continue using Gmail or Yahoo! as your email interface with your own email domain. Therefore, an email address such as @company.com may also be subject to these sender requirements.

 

Steps to send mass emails from Gmail

Despite the limitations, if you want to send bulk emails from Gmail, here’s the step-by-step procedure:

Step 1: Open a Google Doc from your account
